Job Integration Coach supports onboarding by attending work (either virtually or in-person) with the Career Candidate, aiding in training, providing introductions to supportive colleagues, clarifying job tasks, and ensuring a clear understanding of accommodations.
Job Path Navigator (Community Walkthrough):
Job Integration Coach meets with Career Candidate at convenient/accessible locations for them, exploring diverse worksites such as malls or retail streets. Coach reports Career Candidate’s preferred employers and rationale to Caseworker/Job Developer to assist with career mapping and targeted applications.
Interview Support:
Job Integration Coaches focus on enhancing communication between the Neurodivergent Career Candidate and the interviewer. This ensures clear expression of the candidate’s unique strengths and qualifications, aiding in presenting the candidate in the best possible light. The coach also offers insights into the candidate’s specific needs and strengths, fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment. Additionally, the coach plays a crucial role in stress management, providing reassurance and support, ultimately improving the candidate’s ability to showcase their abilities and qualifications, thereby increasing their chances of success.
Route Riders – Practice Run:
ASpectrum provides safety education and practice transit runs to support Neurodivergent individuals navigate public transportation confidently.
